Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
* Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
* Support individuals in maintaining their independence while providing necessary assistance.
* Communicate effectively with residents and their families to understand their needs and preferences.
* Follow care plans meticulously to ensure each individual's specific requirements are met.
* Document any changes in residents' conditions and report them to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents.
* Participate in training sessions and meetings as required to enhance your skills and knowledge in care provision.
Skills
* Experience in a care home setting is highly desirable.
* Proficient English communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with residents and team members.
* Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
* Ability to drive may be beneficial for roles involving home visits or community outreach.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents and their families.
