Overview
As a Graduate Contaminated Land Consultant, you’ll be part of a passionate Environmental and Consent team working on projects across the built environment, transport, and water sectors. Your Work
You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a culture that values curiosity, integrity, and teamwork. Your work will span both office-based and field activities, combining technical rigour with purpose-driven impact.
Your Responsibilities May Include
* Environmental Research & Desk Studies – Conduct literature reviews and write desk studies informing project decisions and environmental strategies.
* Field Monitoring & Sampling – Monitor and sample groundwater and ground gas to assess environmental conditions and protect public health.
* Site Investigations & Data Analysis – Supervise ground investigations and analyse environmental data to identify risks and guide remediation.
* Impact Assessments & Risk Reporting – Contribute to Environmental Impact Assessments and land contamination risk reports supporting sustainable development.
* Remediation & Proposal Writing – Support the development of remediation strategies and contribute to proposals that drive positive change.
* Collaborative Problem-Solving – Work with engineers, scientists, and planners to deliver integrated, innovative solutions for society.
Candidate Specification
We are looking for committed graduates with a genuine passion to make a difference. To be eligible, you will have less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements) and hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (obtained no earlier than 2024) or be expected to achieve one, in one of the following disciplines:
* Hydrogeology
* Contaminated land
* Environmental geology
* Environmental science
