We are looking to appoint a committed, hardworking and enthusiastic individual to the role of Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. The role will include working 1:1 with children with special educational needs and/or social and emotional difficulties.
The position is for 37 hours per week during term time plus 1 week for training days (39 weeks total per year).
The successful candidate must:
Have previous experience of working with primary age children.
Have a recognised level 3 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent.
Be caring, patient and supportive with a positive attitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
A strong work ethic and a commitment to professional development.
Have the ability to work well within a team and when using their own initiative.

The closing date for applications is Friday 12th June at 9.00 am, with interviews to take place week beginning 15th June. Shortlisted candidates will be required to undertake an activity at the interview.
