We’re looking to offer a salary up to £40,000 per annum and days annual leave (inc bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
Lead engagement with your team of Supervisors/Operatives, to meet targets and deadlines through guidance, support, and effective communication
* Drive performance, reporting and KPI management through operational and team performance, attendance, and productivity with continuous improvement initiatives
* Pride in delivering compliance and H&S by ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards, including proactive risk assessments
* Resource and Budget Oversight, manage temporary labour and agency relationships, control budgets, and optimize processes for operational efficiency
* Customer engagement and stakeholder relationship responsibility, with maintaining strong customer relationships and collaboration with wider teams/union representatives
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Proven Warehouse operations experience within logistics/manufacturing, with strong understanding of shift KPIs and operational processes
* Skilled in team building and leadership, through delegation, mentoring, and empowering direct reports to achieve high performance and continuous improvement
* Agile approach to planning, data-driven decision-making, and passion for improving efficiencies and processes
* Excellent verbal/written communication, IT literate with Microsoft proficiency, and ability to collaborate effectively across teams
