Job summary
The successful recruit will pick up elements of both roles (PCN Manager and Operations Manager) in order to ease pressure from both. The PCN Manager will retain overall responsibility for the day to day running of the PCN and the Operations Manager will retain overall responsibility for the operational function of the PCN. This role will suit someone who has experience of primary care management, especially if they have worked in a primary care network setting previously.
Main duties of the job
We have a need to maximise, streamline and support our leadership and management function in order to keep pace with the ever increasing workforce and the new services that continue to evolve. To that end, we are seeking to recruit a PCN Assistant Manager to share the workload of the PCN Manager and the Operations Manager, also providing much needed cover for these roles during annual leave periods.
