Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable First Aid Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions that equip participants with essential first aid skills and knowledge. This role is crucial in promoting safety and preparedness in various environments, ensuring that individuals are capable of responding effectively in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
* Conduct engaging and informative first aid training sessions for diverse groups, including employees, community members, and students.
* Develop and update training materials to ensure compliance with current first aid guidelines and best practices.
* Assess participants' understanding and skills through practical demonstrations and written evaluations.
* Provide constructive feedback to participants to enhance their learning experience.
* Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant attendance, and certification outcomes.
* Stay informed about the latest developments in first aid practices and incorporate them into training programmes.
* Collaborate with management to identify training needs and improve course offerings.
Skills
* Strong knowledge of first aid principles, practices, and emergency response techniques.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
* Experience in teaching or facilitating training sessions is highly desirable.
* Ability to engage participants through interactive teaching methods and practical exercises.
* Strong organisational skills to manage training schedules, materials, and participant records efficiently.
* A valid first aid instructor certification is required; additional qualifications in related fields are advantageous.

Must Haves
* Regulated First Aid at Work qualification or higher.
* A regulated teaching qualification.
* Must have the right to work in the UK.
* Must hold a full driving license for the UK.
* Must have access to transport to travel to and from work.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
