Social Media & Content Executive – Overview
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Social Media & Content Executive to join a well-established fashion retailer. This role sits within a fast-paced head office environment and plays a key part in driving digital growth through engaging content and strong social media presence.
The Social Media & Content Executive will support the planning and delivery of social strategy, creating compelling content and driving engagement, brand awareness and online performance across multiple platforms.
Social Media & Content Executive Responsibilities
1. Support the development and execution of seasonal social media strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and sales.
2. Plan, create and schedule engaging content across all key social media channels.
3. Manage influencer outreach, collaborations, and relationships, including briefing and contract coordination.
4. Work with internal teams to produce creative, on-brand content including copy, imagery, and video.
5. Lead day-to-day social media activity, including posting, community management and responding to engagement.
6. Utilise paid social activity to increase reach, engagement, and audience growth.
7. Monitor performance using analytics tools, producing regular reports and insights to optimise future activity.
8. Track competitor and market trends, providing updates and recommendations.
9. Support weekly and monthly reporting on social performance and trading impact.
10. Ensure all content is aligned with brand identity and customer focus.
11. Contribute to the development of social presence across multiple brand channels.
Additional Information
The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing social media platforms, strong copywriting skills and a creative mindset. You should be highly organised, commercially aware, and confident working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Experience within fashion or a similar industry would be advantageous.
