We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Assistant to join a dynamic QC team within the personal care manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will play an essential role in supporting quality control operations by assisting with inspections, testing, documentation, and implementation of quality procedures to ensure products consistently meet high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and quality tests on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products. Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures and standards. Identify and report product defects or deviations from specifications promptly. Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, test results, and quality control activities. Collaborate closely with production teams to resolve any quality issues. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards such as BRC and ISO 9001/GMP. Support the Quality Control Manager during audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with product sampling in line with QC Manager's guidance. Build a thorough understanding of the manufacturing process and be willing to actively support production when necessary. Requirements: Experience within the personal care industry preferred. Diploma or equivalent qualification required; a degree in science or related field is advantageous. Previous experience in quality control or manufacturing environments is essential. Familiarity with quality standards and testing procedures. Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills. Good communication skills with ability to work effectively in a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Working Environment: Fast-paced manufacturing setting requiring standing for prolonged periods and occasional lifting. Working hours: 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. Exposure to manufacturing floor conditions including heat, humidity, and strong scents. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems. Understanding of formulation chemistry. Experience using laboratory equipment and inspection tools.
