This is a wonderful opportunity for a passionate Key Stage 1 practitioner to work with pupils at a pivotal stage as they transition from Early Years into more structured learning. As a Year 1 teacher, you will create a classroom environment that balances structure with creativity, helping children develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning. You will deliver high-quality lessons across the curriculum, with a strong focus on phonics, early reading, writing, and numeracy. You will work closely with colleagues in Early Years and Key Stage 1 to ensure continuity and progression, supporting pupils both academically and emotionally. Assessment will be used thoughtfully to track progress and inform planning, while differentiation will ensure all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL, are supported effectively. Strong relationships with parents and carers are highly valued, and you will be supported to communicate openly and positively with families.
