DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Systems Control Manager to coordinate our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.
What does the role entail?
As part of your duties, maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
* Monitor SCADA, WCS, SAP, and CCTV to ensure smooth automation flow, escalating issues to Dematic Engineers.
* Report planned maintenance and downtime in advance via established methods.
* Escalate issues and engage stakeholders to resolve them with minimal operational impact.
* Support maintenance providers in reviewing SCADA data to identify recurring mechanical issues and plan maintenance with the engineering team.
* Ensure the correct operation of Pick Control and Rework Control, releasing picks and rework according to system schedules, and coordinate wave control and releases, including ad hoc requests.
* Maintain oversight of all automation systems and communicate issues and priorities to operations and first-line managers.
* Manage a team of 8 clerical staff.
What do we need from you?
* Experience with SAP is essential.
* Management experience is highly advantageous.
* Automation experience is highly advantageous.
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
* Supply Chain/Logistics experience is essential.
* MSc in Supply Chain or Analytics is highly welcomed.
