What the Job Involves The role involves leading and managing a team focused on Benefits Processing within a shared pensions administration service. You will be responsible for: Providing full day-to-day line management of a team of 7 staff members, including performance management and staff development. Driving process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer service. Handling technical escalations and providing expert guidance on complex queries. Owning the quality assurance process and ensuring compliance with LGPS regulations. Managing pensioner payroll processes and ensuring timely completion of all tasks. Investigating and resolving formal complaints and complex issues. Collaborating with other teams for service improvements and providing stakeholder advice. Ensuring service delivery is effective and compliant with statutory obligations.
