Duties
Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities to meet individual needs.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised nursery environment that meets health and safety standards.
Support the management team in maintaining high standards of care and education within the nursery setting.
Assist with daily routines including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Skills
Strong management and leadership abilities to guide junior staff members effectively.
Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
Excellent communication skills in English to interact with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
A valid driving licence is preferred for potential transportation needs related to nursery activities.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
