Field Service Engineer (Forklifts) – £40,000 - £45,000 (OTE £60,000+) + Pension + Company Van + Overtime + Door to Door pay - Mon - Fri (flexi hours 40hr week). Wiltshire local patch - Southwest patch.
Are you a Field Service Engineer with background in Forklifts or with a background in mechanical, plant, or agricultural equipment? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading independent forklift and materials handling business, operating across Wiltshire and surrounding areas. With recent UKMHA accreditation and strong growth, this is the ideal time to join the team. In this varied role, you''ll work both in the Wiltshire workshop and on-site, handling the refurbishment, servicing, repair, and inspections of a wide range of Gas, Diesel, Electric and manual forklifts. You''ll be supported with manufacturer-led and in-house training, while gaining experience across all aspects of forklift maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer from a mechanical, agricultural, plant, or HGV background who''s looking to upskill, gain forklift-specific experience, or transition into a field-based engineering role.
The Role
* Carry out servicing and inspections on company and customer machines
* Full refurbishment of a wide range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment
* Repairs and maintenance of Gas, Diesel, Electric and manual machines
* Hire preparation including pre hire and off hire inspections and preparing for transportation
The Person
* Field service engineer with a background in Forklifts or similar
* Full UK driving licence essential
* Commutable to Wiltshire
