An opportunity has arisen for an administration assistant to work within the Single Point of Access Administration Team.
The admin team provides an important and integral part of the day to day running of the Community Navigation Centre, through email and telephone referral systems, and administrative support to the clinical teams who are based within the Community Navigation Centre, liaising with patients, carers, healthcare professionals and other representatives from health and social care organisations, across Dudley and possibly neighbouring localities.
You will be a part of a small team of administrators; you will be an adaptable and confident team member, who possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be resilient and enjoy working closely with a team in a demanding environment.
Effective communication skills are vital, as is a positive patient‑care attitude and attention to detail. You should be able to use a PC and standard software packages including Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
You will be able to work independently and as a member of a team. An ability to organise and prioritise tasks is essential.
The service runs Monday - Sunday, 08:00am-18:00pm, including Bank Holidays on a rotational basis.
Main duties of the job
To provide administrative and clerical support to the Dudley Clinical Hub staff. Undertake general clerical duties including opening and distribution of mail, maintenance of filing system.
You must be willing to learn the skills and carry out any training necessary for the role. You are expected to be punctual and well presented, always maintaining a professional image.

Qualifications & Education
* Maths and English GCSE's grade 9-1, O levels grade A-F, or CSE's 1-3
* NVQ Business Administration/Customer Care NVQ2 or equivalent experience
