Job Title: Windows 11 Roll-Out Engineer
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom (Onsite 5-Days a week)
Day Rate: £170 - £200 per day (Inside IR35)
Job Type: 6 Month Contract
Company Introduction:
My client is looking for an experienced Windows Roll-Out Engineer to assist and take pressure away from the internal team. The position will be for a six month contract. This role focuses on the deployment, management, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including Windows 11 builds, laptop setups, printer deployment, and asset tracking.
Role Responsibilities:
* Build and deploy Windows 11 images and software packages via SCCM.
* Configure and set up laptops and desktops for end-users.
* Manage and deploy networked printers.
* Track and maintain IT hardware inventory, ensuring asset tracking accuracy.
* Perform regular patching and software updates across devices and systems.
* Support the implementation and maintenance of IGEL thin client solutions.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
* Proficiency with SCCM and Windows 11 deployment.
* Experience with laptop builds, imaging, and configurations.
* Strong knowledge of IT asset management and tracking.
* Familiarity with IGEL thin client systems (preferred but not required).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
