Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Internal Sales Executive to join our clients dynamic sales office team at a leading, long-established national distributor in the specialist building materials marketplace.
As an Internal Sales Executive, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, providing expert product advice, processing orders, and building lasting relationships. Working closely with internal/external sales teams and suppliers, your role is vital in ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and hitting sales targets.
Responsibilities
* Proactively manage incoming customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
* Prepare and follow up on quotations and sales orders
* Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
* Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of products and industry trends
* Achieve and exceed branch and individual sales targets
* Provide administrative support related to sales activity
Experience
* Previous experience in an internal sales, customer service, or trade counter environment (preferably in pipework/plumbing/HVAC/electrical or similar sector)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* Proficient in using sales and order-processing systems
* A proactive and positive attitude with a passion for delivering excellent service
