The Sales Manager supervises trains and develops all employees within their respective group and is responsible for the direction and timely resolution of their teams customer inquiries relating to multiple aspects of our business including pricing, part delivery, part performance, capabilities and supply chain.

The Sales Manager supervises trains and develops all employees within their respective group and is responsible for the direction and timely resolution of their teams customer inquiries relating to multiple aspects of our business including pricing, part delivery, part performance, capabilities and supply chain.
The Sales Manager is also responsible for managing the groups customer requirements, defining processes and generating efficiencies in modeling for quotation and managing of supply chain programs. The role acts as a key liaison between our key people, customers, engineers and internal resource groups to ensure the successful growth of sales revenue, new programs and provide ongoing support of our long term strategy.
Essential Functions
* Drive and assist team in achieving sales and profit goals
* Assist key customers and team in design, manufacturing and supply chain efforts that best align with Tech-Etch capabilities.
* Ensure high-value opportunities or programs are appropriately resourced and communicated.
* Communicate account level information to internal and external customers.
* Supervise staff and through direct, day-to-day involvement, ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness of those resources.
* Act as point of escalation for internal and external customers.
* Provide account or opportunity specific information to senior management on an as needed basis.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position supervises and acts as a subject matter expect within a specific realm of capabilities and is responsible for performance management of the designated team in relations to goals and objectives.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, salary position.
Travel
Some travel may be required for this position.
Required Education And Experience
* Bachelor of Science or 10 years equivalent technical engineering, supply chain or management. Related experience may be considered
Preferred Education And Experience
* 5 years management or leadership experience is preferred
