We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Product delivery Service Nurse to join our caring and progressive team in Hersden.

You will make a difference by making sure our services are proactive and patient-focused, helping to keep people at home and independent for longer.

Our community nursing teams are closely aligned with local Primary Care Networks, to make sure patient care is holistic and joined up. We believe in treating the whole person, not just the condition, so we take time to get to know our patients.

Main duties of the job

The overriding purpose of the post is to support the provision of high-quality bladder and bowel care for adults in Kent, mainly through the
authorisations of products processes for the product delivery service/Kent continence service.

The Product Delivery Service is a specialist team that assess and process referrals for continence products. The team work closely with the home delivery contract product supplier and the Home Delivery Transport Team.

Qualifications

Essential criteria

1. Registered Healthcare Professional with relevant Professional body (1st Level Nurse/ NMC or Physiotherapist; Occupational Therapist; etc / HCPC)
2. Degree in a health relevant subject or willingness to complete a degree (within 3 years of appointment)

Desirable criteria

3. Mentoring qualification equivalent

Experience

4. Experience of recent community/acute healthcare gained through education or work experience placement or previous employment

6. Awareness of professional issues and recent developments in the NHS Knowledge of up to date clinical practice
