Overview
The Senior Growth Manager is a senior commercial role within the Vario Growth function, responsible for driving new client acquisition and the strategic expansion of existing accounts. This is a high-impact, externally facing position that operates at the most senior levels of in-house legal teams, building trusted relationships with General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, and Heads of Legal Operations.
What You’ll Do
* Significantly contribute to Vario's new client targeting and acquisition strategy, identifying and pursuing opportunities aligned with Vario's capabilities and growth priorities
* Own and develop a portfolio of major strategic accounts, building long-term relationships and identifying opportunities for expansion and increased engagement
* Drive commercial conversations with clients and ensuring sound, sustainable commercial outcomes
* Develop and maintain relationships with intermediaries, referral networks and partner-led channels to broaden Vario's route to market
* Contribute to Vario's go-to-market strategy, providing market insight, sector perspective and commercial intelligence to inform targeting and positioning decisions
* Work in close alignment with Pinsent Masons relationship partners and BD teams to ensure coordinated, complementary client engagement
* Collaborate with the Head of Growth on pipeline health, revenue forecasting and prioritisation of opportunities
* Represent Vario externally with professionalism, credibility and a consistent brand voice
About You
* Significant experience in business development, client management or commercial leadership within the legal sector or professional services
* Demonstrated track record of winning new work and growing client relationships at a senior level
* Strong commercial acumen, with confidence in sales discussions
* Ability to engage credibly and build trust with GC, Deputy GC and Legal Operations leadership
* Experience working within or alongside law firms, in-house legal functions, or legal services providers
* Understanding of the ALSP market, managed legal services, and the evolving needs of in-house legal teams
* Collaborative approach and ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
