Kiddi Caru in Bradley Stoke, part of Grandir UK, has reopened their Webbs Wood Nursery after a period of closure. We are looking for a reliable Nursery Manager with Level 3 or above in Early Years to provide professional leadership and ensure the nursery runs effectively each day and begins to drive occupancy. This role is available as our current Manager has stepped into a new role within the organisation.
What you will be doing
* As Manager you will be key in leading an exciting part of the reopening of the setting and driving this.
* Engage in this evolving time, help to grow our existing team and feel part of this great opportunity.
* Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
* Ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
* Responsible for all administrative duties associated with the nursery, such as maintaining children’s records, ordering equipment, maintaining inventories, and keeping personnel records.
* Facilitate inspections by regulatory bodies and implement any recommendations.
* Be responsible for ensuring the nursery remains compliant with suitably trained staff with relevant first aid qualifications.
* Agree and deliver occupancy targets.
* Recruit, induct, support, train and appraise all staff to ensure delivery of high-quality childcare practice.
* Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly and professional relationships with parents and carers.

Qualifications / Requirements
* Level 3 or above in Early Years.
* Experience leading and driving occupancy or managing a nursery setting.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children; enhanced DBS check will be required.
* Excellent communication with parents and carers.
