SEMH Teaching Assistant – Barnet
Salary: £85 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time | Long-term
GSL Education is looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant for a special school in Barnet, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide targeted SEMH support to individuals and groups.
* Assist with behaviour management in and out of the classroom.
* Build strong relationships to encourage positive engagement.
* Support teachers in delivering inclusive learning.
Requirements:
* Previous SEMH or alternative provision experience desirable.
* Patience, resilience, and adaptability.
* Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
