Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate a team of Housekeeping Assistants ensuring they keep to their cleaning schedules and maintain an attractive and clean environment throughout the home
* Work as part of a team to enrich residents' lives, support colleagues, and maintain a positive and enjoyable work environment
* Ensure residents live in a clean, safe and pleasant environment that feels as close to home as possible
* Communicate effectively with the team and adopt a flexible approach
* Provide housekeeping services with care, enthusiasm, and energy; interact with older residents to meet their needs with respect and dignity
* Knowledge of infection control would be advantageous
* Ideally NVQ / QCF Level 2 qualified in Catering and in Housekeeping or demonstrate equivalent knowledge and ability
Qualifications & Requirements
* Previous experience of providing housekeeping services is required, ideally in a dementia residential setting
* Experience is not essential if you are caring, enthusiastic and energetic; training and support will be provided
* Strong communication skills and a flexible approach
* Must be kind, respectful, and committed to the needs of older people
* Knowledge of infection control would be advantageous
* Salary: £13.97 per hour
* Hours: 40 hours available
