Tradewind Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a leading specialist education provider in Northampton that caters to young people with a range of social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, autism spectrum conditions (ASC), and associated learning difficulties. We are seeking an experienced or aspiring Maths Teacher to join this dedicated team and deliver creative, engaging, and tailored lessons to small classes of students with complex needs. The school places a strong emphasis on building trusting relationships with pupils, promoting emotional resilience, and encouraging independence, making it a highly rewarding place to teach.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, adapted to meet the diverse needs of students.
Work collaboratively with support staff and therapists to provide a holistic learning experience.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing tailored interventions where necessary.
Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture that supports academic and personal growth.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Maths at secondary level, preferably within an SEN or alternative provision setting.
A compassionate, resilient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
