SkyBridge Accounting Limited have an opportunity for a permanent Client Manager to join our friendly, well-established team. This is a full-time role that could be split between two part time roles based upon the candidates applying for the position.
We provide a wide range of services to our clients in addition to both accounts and tax return requirements. We are the first Xero Gold Partner for Gloucestershire and have embraced the freedom that digital cloud accounting and associated apps have afforded both us and our clients for over 10 years and continue to seek efficiencies where we can.
We have a 35 hour working week, closing at 1:30pm each Friday. Offering 27 days holiday plus bank holidays as well as flexible working options (after a successful probation period has been completed).
We are looking for experienced, hardworking prospective candidates with experience in the following areas:
Responsibilities:
Payroll preparation is required as this role supports the payroll bureau for our clients of which we have a mixture of flat monthly payroll runs, ad hoc hours, all RTi and pension payments as well as exposure to CIS suffered/deducted.
Preparation of sole trader and partnership accounts including business tax computations
Preparation of limited company accounts including CT600 tax returns.
Preparation of director/shareholder personal tax returns
Preparation/checking automations of payroll and CIS processing
Working with colleagues to make efficiencies in work practices for both us and our clients
Dealing with HMRC correspondence and liaising with HMRC.
Dealing with client queries and correspondence on their affairs.
Building relationships with a portfolio of clients of your own
Key Skills:
MUST have previous working experience in an accountancy practice. Accountancy practice: 1 year (required)
MUST have proven payroll experience
Clear, literate and good writing and communication skills.
Xero exposure is desirable

Salary and Benefits
Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year (Displayed salary range is dependent upon experience, qualifications and hours worked if appropriate.)
