Role purpose / summary
MBTP Program Background: The Migration Borders Technology Portfolio is building functionality to transform the way the Client manages immigration into the United Kingdom. The finished system will be used by the client staff based in the UK and in consulates across the globe, and by all applicants for Visa or Immigration services.
The delivery framework envisages multiple application developers collaborating to deliver software components and being integrated by the Client. Multiple providers of commodity cloud services will provide hosting. The application developments will be delivered using an agile methodology in line with Government IT policy.

Skills:
12. Experienced leading large-scale IT and Business Transformation Projects (preferably in Public Sector)
13. Experience of working with development teams
14. Ability to manage senior (technical and programme) stakeholders with strong communication skills
15. Working within an agile context with the use of CI
16. Articulate a logical design, and understand how this translates to physical infrastructure
17. Experience with defining and working with the constraint of NFRs such as cost, scalability, availability
