Sous Chef - Dining Pub
We are currently recruiting an experienced Sous chef to support to Head Chef and team in a lovely dining pub with rooms. As Sous you will lead from the front overseeing the daily running of service ensuring dishes are produced in a timely manner and to the highest of standards.

The Place
Our client is an independent country pub. The country style interior features oak and quarry tile flooring, wood burner and hardwood bar. The pub is open throughout the week serving delicious lunch and dinner every day. They also have 7 stunning guest bedrooms. The restaurant is focused on modern British cuisine using seasonal, fresh ingredients to create menus loaded with passion and imagination.
The Person
The ideal Sous Chef will have the following:
* Solid experience as a Sous Chef in a fresh food restaurant/ dining pub
* The ability to handle running a busy service.
* Excellent attention to detail
* Proven people management skills
* Flexibility to cover shifts as required 48 hours per week over 5 days
* As the pub is in quite a rural location having means of transport to this area is essential
