Job Description
Were looking for an experienced Mechanical Pump Engineer (Field Based) to join a well-established pump solutions company covering Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Bedfordshire!
Youll work on a variety of clean water and wastewater systems, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, fault-finding, and installations. This includes booster sets, pressurisation units, pumping stations, submersible pumps, and associated pipework/valve systems.
Youll work both independently, and part of a two-person team for larger projects. Nights away are very rare.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!
What youll be doing
1. Carry out mechanical servicing, installations, and commissioning of pumps, booster sets, valves, and pipework
2. Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to optimise system performance
3. Work on both clean water and wastewater systems, including submersibles and sewage pumping stations
4. Attend planned maintenance visits and respond to emergency breakdowns
5. Complete accurate site reports and liaise with office support...
