Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing high-quality, nutritious meals for our residents.
* Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards when needed.
* Support and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
* Create and update menus that align with residents' dietary needs and preferences.
* Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special events and dietary accommodations for residents as needed.
* Coordinate and communicate with residents and relatives to ensure their satisfaction and needs are met and exceeded through continual feedback.
Qualifications
* Level 2 or above in Food Safety.
* Level 2 Catering and Hospitality Qualification.
* Allergen and Intolerance Awareness Certificate desired but not essential.
* At least 5 years' experience working in a commercial kitchen.
