People Solutions Manager

Role Overview
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced People Solutions Manager to lead the day-to-day management and optimisation of core HR systems; particularly Workday. This role will oversee a specialist team responsible for ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient system operations that support key people processes across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating complex systems, managing multiple stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement across HR technologies and processes. This position plays a critical role in maintaining data integrity, supporting seamless payroll and recruitment operations, and enhancing the overall employee digital experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the management and optimisation of core HR systems, with a primary focus on Workday
* Supervise and support a team of specialists delivering daily operational excellence
* Ensure high standards of data governance, quality, and security across HR systems
* Collaborate with key partners in HR, IT, Legal, and other departments to ensure systems meet business needs
* Oversee system dependencies across payroll, recruitment, and employee lifecycle processes
* Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience
* Manage system changes and upgrades, ensuring clear documentation and minimal disruption
* Support strategic planning for future HR technology needs and scalability
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration within the team
Key Requirements
* Proven experience managing Workday or a comparable HRIS platform in a complex organisation
* Strong knowledge of HR data processes, compliance, and systems governance
* Demonstrated ability to lead operational teams and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Experience supporting key people functions such as payroll, onboarding, and reporting through system infrastructure
* Skilled in stakeholder engagement, change management, and cross-functional collaboration
* Methodical, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain systems and data processes clearly to non-technical audiences
* Passion for driving system improvements and enabling better ways of working
