Position: Wellbeing Worker

Salary Range: £26,150 to £27,963
Job Purpose:
Our client is seeking a dedicated Wellbeing Worker to collaborate with young individuals aged 11-25 in enhancing their health and overall wellbeing. The role involves providing guidance, support, and encouragement to empower young people to make positive lifestyle changes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality advisory services to youth and partner agencies while adhering to established guidelines and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Early Intervention Wellbeing Workers:
- Support young people aged 11-18, operating within and alongside educational institutions.
- Provide targeted assistance to at-risk individuals, emphasizing prevention and early intervention strategies.
- Deliver personalized one-on-one support sessions, both within school premises and offsite as necessary.
- Offer support to those facing challenges in their educational journey or at risk of disengagement and broader issues.
2. Wellbeing Worker Supporting Care Experienced Children:
- Tailored support for 16-18-year-olds from diverse care backgrounds.
- Flexible interventions for youths residing in accommodation-based support services.
- Organize on-site support and activities, including evenings and weekends, to engage young individuals and foster community involvement.
3. Next Steps Wellbeing Worker:
- Provide dedicated support to individuals aged 18-25 in accessing Education, Employment, and Training (EET) opportunities.
- Assist in setting aspirational goals, removing barriers to progression, and facilitating access to relevant resources.
Delivering Service:
- Provide relevant information, advice, and support to improve health and wellbeing.
- Motivate and support young people seeking assistance.
- Demonstrate a positive, solution-focused approach.
- Collaborate in organizing workshops, awareness sessions, and outreach activities.
- Ensure the effective delivery of integrated services that meet the needs of young individuals.
Teamwork:
- Collaborate within the staff team to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
- Share best practices and information to enhance service delivery.
Quality:
- Work towards achieving quality standards set by the client.
- Continuously strive to improve service delivery and address complaints as per procedures.
Development and Training:
- Participate in induction programs, training sessions, and team development activities.
- Undertake necessary development and training relevant to the role.
Delivering Equality:

Essential:

- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a social care field.
- Evidence of personal and career development.
- Possession of a driving license and access to a vehicle.
