Are you a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant looking to progress further in a successful family run business based in Garstang? Reporting to the Directors, you will be responsible for the day to day activities of the finance office and can work up to trial balance. This is a 9 month temporary position to cover maternity leave. Duties will include: Purchase Ledger Sales Ledger Weekly Payroll using Sage Credit Control Taking payments over the phone As this is a small friendly run business, the successful candidate will need to be flexible with their approach to work, be comfortable with on your own at times, and happy to have contact with customers. You will be proficient in Sage, have a good level of experience with MS Excel and be qualified to AAT or equivalent. The hours of work are 7.30 – 3.30 Monday to Friday, the rate is £14.28 per hour.
