Up to £57,000 depending on experience

3 days per week on-site due to workload classification

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity
The recent commencement of the NAREW export contract for Poland alongside the support of the British Army system and production of systems for other contracts sees the Land Ceptor functional development team needing to grow to support this varied portfolio.
As a Systems Engineer, Requirements within the Functional development team you'll be involved in:
* Helping the customer understand and capture their needs,
* Deriving suitable system, subsystem and software requirements to meet the needs,
* Informing product line approaches to allow a common suite of products to meet different customer needs,
* Determining and managing processes and procedures to manage change is a controlled way,
* Acting as customer for specific software items.
What we're looking for from you
* Requirements management and derivation experience (ideally in a defence)
* Experience of system engineering tools e.g. DOORS/DOORS NG/Rhapsody
* Ability to disseminate/share technical information to customers in an understandable manner
* Engineering change control and management experience
* Ability to initiate/undertake and drive trade studies and system development activities
* Experience of developing complex systems (ideally in defence)
* Ability to communicate architectures and ideas at all levels
* Strong stakeholder management skillsExperience of working with product lines would be beneficial
