The University is seeking to appoint coaches to the following roles: Men’s Cricket 1st team and Ladies’ Cricket 1st team. This post will strengthen the team of staff contributing to the development of the University of Worcester (UW) Sport programme.
The University of Worcester has made significant progress in several areas in recent years relating to performance sport and community engagement. Such has been the expansion of activities with a growing number of participants, there is now a clear need for operational and strategic leadership.
The above posts arise from the continuing expansion of the student sports performance programme (UW Sport). Appropriately qualified candidates will be expected to contribute to the development of the outreach and recruitment work within the UW sport programme as well as their specific team.
All staff undertake several additional duties and, these are subject to negotiation with the School of Sport and Exercise Science. The individual/s appointed will be allocated a mentor who will oversee practical and administrative aspects of the role.
