Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger Clerk
We are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team. Due to expansion, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced person to join our busy Head office at Nicholson House, Whitchurch, Shropshire.
Main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
* Maintain and review ledgers
* Liaising with suppliers and maintaining relationships
* Bank reconciliations
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Processing and authorising invoices
* Processing monthly BACS payment runs
* Petty Cash
* Cash Allocation
* Ensure all deadlines for month end are met
The right candidate will have:
* Previous purchase ledger experience would be an advantage
* Strong attention to detail and proactive attitude
* Good IT skills and confident using finance packages; Sage and Excel
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday 9am-5pm
Salary £26,910 per annum
