Sing Education is looking for passionate musicians with a degree in music or a related field (such as musical theatre or music education) who are eager to share the transformative power of music with the next generation.

Responsibilities
* Weekly teaching, full school day – 8.45am to 3.30/4.30pm, term time
* Permanent placement in one or more Sing Education primary schools
* Teaching from 1 to 5 days per week
* Singing-led curricular whole-class music lessons – Nursery to Year 6 following Sing Education teaching resources
* Singing assemblies
* Choruses, lunchtime and after-school clubs
Qualifications
* University graduate with a degree in music or a related field
Skills and Knowledge
* Strong vocal skills with the confidence to lead lessons and assemblies
* Excellent command of spoken and written English
* Capability to conduct whole-class music lessons
* Basic keyboard proficiency for classroom use
* Understanding of the National Curriculum for music
* Proficient with ICT and able to use online systems such as G Suite
Experience
* Experience in classroom teaching or one-on-one instruction
* Previous work with children or young people in a teaching or leadership role
Personal Attributes
* Passionate about inspiring a love for music in pupils
* Strong classroom management and disciplinary skills
* Ability to collaborate effectively with both Sing Education and school teams
* Maintains appropriate confidentiality
* Sense of humour and ability to generate enthusiasm for music

Benefits
* Full-time Salary PA: £22,379 - £29,288 (for 5 days per week), based on a 5-point progressive pay scale
* Staff progress up the pay scale with each 12 months of service following a successful managerial supervision meeting
* Initial pay is dependent on classroom music experience and weekly hours + pension
* 7 - 40 hours per week – 38 weeks per year + paid training
* No PGCE or QTS required
