3-6 Month Contract | Full-Time | Hybrid Working
📍 Swindon (Hybrid - office & home-based)
We are currently recruiting for an Interim Management Accountant to support a busy finance function on a 3-6 month contract. This is a full-time role offering hybrid working, based in Swindon.
This assignment would suit a hands-on Management Accountant who can quickly get up to speed and add value during a period of change or increased workload.
Key Responsibilities
1. Preparation of monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, variance analysis)
2. Budgeting and forecasting, including reforecasts
3. Business partnering with non-finance stakeholders
4. Review and posting of accruals, prepayments and journals
5. Support month-end close to tight deadlines
6. Analysis of costs, margins and performance drivers
7. Assist with year-end audit preparation (if required)
8. Process improvement and ad-hoc financial analysis
About You
9. Proven experience as a Management Accountant (interim or contract experience desirable)
10. Part-qualified or qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
11. Strong Excel skills; ERP system experience advantageous
12. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
13. Proactive, adaptable and able to work with minimal supervision
14. Available at short notice or immediately
