Platform Engineer Initial 12 Month Contract Remote working with occasional travel to Reading, Berkshire £74.26 Per Hour (Umbrella Rate - Inside IR35) The Role Implement, maintain and enhance the platforms physical and virtual infrastructure Ensure high availability and performance of network services Carries out virtual and physical infrastructure/network/storage builds and rebuilds Assists in the preparation of detailed technical delivery plans Maintain detailed network design documentation and knowledge management for operational transparency Contribute to the design and integration of new network solutions to meet evolving business needs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network improvements and expansions Comply with Governance and change control policies The Candidate 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer Professional certification (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, CCDP,) or equivalent / proven experience on this level Microsoft PowerShell, Bash, Windows Server/Desktop and/or Redhat Linux (RHEL) Server/Desktop Administration, Hypervisor (vmware), Citrix VDI, Active Directory Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g. Bash, PoweShell, Python, Perl, BAT) If this role is of interest, please send a copy of your CV to Tom McGuire by clicking the 'Apply Now' button.
