Supporting Inclusive Education Through Smart, Efficient Administration - Apply your Administration Skills to Support Inclusive Learning and Empower Student Success As an Inclusive Learning Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the Inclusive Learning function within EKC Operations. Working closely with the Operations Manager and Assistant Principal - Student Support, you will help ensure administrative processes are efficient, responsive and aligned with smart working practices, enabling the department to meet the needs of learners effectively.
Responsibilities
* Providing high-quality administrative support to the Inclusive Learning team
* Supporting the coordination and administration of annual reviews for learners with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
* Liaising with Local Authorities and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely information sharing
* Maintaining clear, well-organised records and documentation
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of administrative processes within a busy, evolving service
Qualifications
We are seeking to appoint somebody with a good knowledge of IT including all Microsoft applications including Excel and be able to collate data quickly when needed. EKC Training operates across 6 college campuses and 9 adult training centres in the East Kent area. Therefore, the ability to travel between sites is essential. In addition, we are looking for somebody:
* To work effectively with completing priorities to tight deadlines
* To work effectively with IT systems to upload and prepare reports
* Work effectively with financial documents and systems including ordering and invoicing
* Attention to detail and able to identify issues in documents, processes and procedures
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to keep accurate records (filing) and take accurate notes/minutes of meetings
* A good knowledge of assistive technology and its application to aid communication and learning
* Actively contribute to the College's Safeguarding and PREVENT practice, procedures, culture and ethos
* NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent
* Administration of Medication Level 2 or willingness to undertake this in role
