Job Description
Sole Payroll Manager
6. Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
7. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
8. Oversee payroll reporting and maintain accurate records.
9. Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll accounts.
10. Address employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
11. Implement and maintain payroll system updates and improvements.
12. Provide guidance and support to junior payroll staff.
13. Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Sole Payroll Manager should have:
14. A strong background in payroll management within a professional setting.
15. Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles.
16. Proficiency in payroll software and systems - Excel competent
17. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
18. Knowledge of current payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
19. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
20. Comfortable operating within a sole payroll position
21. Happy to commute to numerous sites within the West London area (Hayes)
