We are seeking two dedicated and compassionate Supported Housing Managers to oversee the delivery of high-quality, housing-related support services in Bridgend. In this vital role, you will lead and empower teams supporting vulnerable individuals aged 16 and over. Working closely with Social Services, Housing, and partner agencies, you will ensure our services are delivered with kindness, respect, and a trauma-informed approach.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):
* Team Leadership & Support: Provide regular supervision, reactionary support, and guidance to your team. Foster a positive, reflective team spirit and manage staff attendance, training, and inductions.
* Service Delivery & Quality: Oversee project performance, manage caseloads, and handle referrals efficiently to prevent escalation of risk or hardship.
* Safeguarding & Risk Management: Ensure robust risk assessments and safety plans are in place. Act swiftly on safeguarding concerns in line with local procedures (including MARAC, MAPPA, child, and adult safeguarding).
* Multi-Agency Collaboration: Build and maintain excellent relationships with local agencies, colleges, probation, social services, and the police.
* Financial Oversight: Manage authorised spending within budget, oversee petty cash systems, and ensure income maximisation guidance is provided to those we support.
* On-Call Support: Participate as part of the second-tier on-call rota (approximately 1 week in 6) to provide telephone and in-person emergency support/shift cover when needed.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements):
Experience & Knowledge:
* Proven line management experience within a support or housing environment.
* Experience leading teams that support individuals dealing with complex needs, such as mental health issues, offending history, substance misuse, or childhood trauma.
* Strong understanding of housing and homelessness issues impacting young people and vulnerable individuals.
* Solid knowledge of risk management, safety planning, and safeguarding frameworks.
Skills & Qualities:
* A deep commitment to psychologically and trauma-informed practice, rooted in kindness and compassion.
* Excellent communication, decision-making, and multi-agency liaison skills.
* Strong IT literacy (MS Word, Teams, Outlook, and case management systems).
* A positive, collaborative attitude and a willingness to step in and support your team when needed.
* Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car.
A Diploma or equivalent qualification (QCF Level 2 or 3) is desirable but not essential.
