Ready to take your financial acumen to the next level in a dynamic, global environment? We’re looking for a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our client's EMEA Finance team on a temporary contract until the end of 2025 and help bring clarity and insight to business performance.
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a vital role in the month-end close process. From preparing journal entries to delivering sharp P&L and balance sheet analysis, you’ll be central part of the business. Expect to deep-dive into complex financial data, uncover trends, explain variances and help ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Performing in-depth variance analysis and crafting insightful commentary on income statement and balance sheet activity
* Supporting the month-end close through journal preparation and reconciliation
* Leading the preparation of statistical reports for multiple EMEA regions
* Partnering across departments, including Accounting, Tax, and Legal, to ensure financial integrity
* Maintaining meticulous attention to detail while managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Requirements
* Previous experience as a financial analyst or in a similar finance/accounting role
* A deep understanding of accounting for P&L and balance sheet
* Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas and beyond)
* Experience with systems like Workday, Blackline and SharePoint
* A proactive attitude and the confidence to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
