Payroll Assistant (Temporary) Irlam £14.00ph+ Holiday Pay

Are you an experienced Payroll Administrator looking for your next temporary opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable organisation based in Irlam, who are seeking a skilled Payroll professional to support their team during a busy period.
This is a fantastic short-term role offering the chance to work in a dynamic and friendly environment, with exposure to international payroll processes and leading payroll systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately process monthly payroll for approximately 250 employees
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including PAYE, NI, pensions, and holiday pay
* Work with ADP Celergo and Workday systems to manage payroll data and reporting
* Assist with the maintenance of payroll records and employee data updates
* Resolve employee queries related to payroll and payslips in a professional and timely manner
* Liaise with internal HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations
* Support with payroll audits and ad hoc reporting as needed
About You:
* Previous experience in a Payroll Administrator or Payroll Officer role is essential
* Comfortable using ADP Celergo and Workday (or similar payroll/HRIS systems)
* Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
* Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and best practices
* Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills and a confidential, professional approach
