Job Description
My client is looking for an experienced CNC Laser Machine Operator.
They are based in Harlow, just off Edinburgh Way, close to Tesco.
Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 5 pm
Friday 8 am to 1 pm
£14 to £16 per hour depending upon experience - this is negotiable as we are looking for the right person.
You will be hard working and have great attention to detail. Productivity, effectiveness and a good work ethic are crucial.
You will be required to operate the CNC Laser Machine to begin the production process so previous experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reading and working from engineering drawings.
* Operating, setting and programming CNC laser machine.
* Maintaining and complying with all safety systems regarding machine operation and proper guarding.
* Good understanding of the manufacture of small volume parts to close tolerances.
* Conducting regular quality checks such as visual checks such as visual checks or taking measurements.
* Previous experience in a sheet metal worker role.
The successful candidate will have:
* Previous experience as a CNC Laser Machine Operator.
* Punctual and reliable.
* Good communication skills.
* Flexible team player but also able to work on own initiative.
