Randstad Student Support is seeking a highly:skilled and motivated Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner to support students at the University of Bath. This vital role involves managing a dedicated caseload and providing essential support as part of the Therapeutic, Mental Health, and Wellbeing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a student caseload, providing solution:focused planning and therapeutic interventions.
* Conduct comprehensive risk management and safety planning.
* Perform detailed risk assessments and subsequent casework.
* Collaborate with the merged Mental Health and Wellbeing team, focusing on work that may not necessarily require six sessions of counselling.
Essential Requirements:
* Current registration with a professional body. The University will consider candidates with current registration in one of the following:
* Social Worker England (SWE)
* Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC : as a Mental Health Nurse)
* Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC : e.g., as an Occupational Therapist)
* BACP membership.
* Experience in solution:focused planning, risk assessment, and safety planning.
* Ability to work on campus with some required in:person sessions as part of a hybrid work pattern.
* Rate: GBP22 per hour + holiday pay
* Type: Locum, 0.8 FTE (4 days per week)
* Duration: Until the end of the term (approx. end of June)
