As a Junior Finance Business Partner, you will work alongside the Finance Business Partner to manage key relationships with stakeholders within Finance and the Business. Your main goal is to deliver insights and strategic support to aid effective decision-making and business growth. The role is based in Redhill, with an expectation to be in the office as required by business needs.
The Role
* Support P&L management for designated business areas.
* Collaborate with the Finance Business Partner to develop and execute a strategic business plan aligned with corporate goals.
* Assist in daily decision-making regarding revenue and expenses, identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Provide insights based on financial analysis and develop options for decision-makers.
* Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on strategy, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
* Coordinate with internal teams such as underwriting, claims, finance, and legal to ensure cohesive operations.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
* Drive continuous improvement by streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency.
* Monitor key performance indicators and report on business performance to senior management.
* Track project progress and report variances to relevant leadership.
* Support project managers with relevant business insights and guidance.
Qualifications
Requirements:
* Finance Degree or equivalent, with relevant Finance Business Partnering experience.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in stakeholder relationship management.
* Experience with month-end close, forecasting, and annual planning is preferred.
* Ability to clearly communicate financial information verbally and in writing.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Excellent organizational and workload management skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Willingness to travel as needed.
