We're now looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join our growing team and help deliver outstanding dishes with consistency and flair.
The Role
As Junior Sous Chef, you'll play a key role in supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen. You'll be hands-on with prep and service, helping to lead the team during busy periods, maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in kitchen operations
* Oversee sections during service and lead by example
* Prepare and cook dishes to spec with consistency and efficiency
* Maintain food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness to EHO standards
* Help train and mentor junior kitchen staff
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
* Contribute to menu development and daily specials
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a similar role (Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef)
* Passion for breakfast and brunch cuisine
* Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (Level 2 or 3 Food Safety preferred)
* Calm under pressure with great communication and leadership skills
* A proactive team player with a keen eye for detail
* Available to work mornings, weekends, and busy shifts
