Purpose of Job:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Supply Chain Senior Specialist to oversee sourcing and supply chain management of hardware. This role involves procurement and logistics, focusing on securing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring smooth hardware inventory flow.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hardware logistics, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. The role requires operational knowledge and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality hardware deliveries.


Key Responsibilities:

* Vendor & Distribution Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for hardware.
* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery standards.
* Vendor Performance Monitoring: Regularly review supplier performance, conduct quality audits, address issues collaboratively.
* Procurement Strategy & Contract Negotiation: Develop procurement strategies aligned with customer needs, budgets, and timelines. Lead negotiations for favorable terms and manage contracts.
* Cost Management: Evaluate and improve procurement processes to reduce costs while maintaining quality. Track procurement spending for savings opportunities.
* Quotation & Bid Support: Support sales and bidding teams with detailed quotes, including hardware specs, costs, and delivery timelines.
* Warranty & Deal Registrations: Manage warranty registrations and support deal registration processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Renewal Management: Oversee hardware renewal processes, provide regular status reports, and prepare renewal documentation.
* Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, freight providers, and internal teams to streamline hardware transportation, storage, and distribution.
* Quality Control & Inventory Management: Ensure shipments are documented, properly packaged, and compliant. Manage returns, damages, and inventory levels.
* Tracking & Reporting: Generate reports on delivery performance, logistics, and cost savings.
* Process Optimization & Problem Resolution: Improve logistics processes, address shipment delays, inventory shortages, and escalate issues as needed.
* Rebate & Compliance: Manage rebate programs, ensure adherence to policies, and maintain procurement records.
* Market Research & Vendor Management: Stay updated on industry trends, identify new suppliers, and evaluate market opportunities.


Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:

Experience:

* Minimum 2 years in hardware logistics, supply chain management, or related field.

Skills:

* Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Experience managing supplier relationships and contracts.
* Analytical, data-driven decision-making skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of hardware components, logistics, and supply chain best practices.
* Understanding procurement regulations, contracts, and compliance.
* Excellent organizational and project management skills.
