We are working with a highly supportive and forward-thinking Primary & Secondary SEMH school in Orpington (Bromley) who are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their outstanding team.

The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you\'ll work closely with students across both Primary and Secondary phases who need additional emotional and behavioural support. You\'ll be a consistent, calm presence, helping students manage their behaviour, engage with learning, and build resilience.
Your Responsibilities
* Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups with behaviour and emotional regulation
* Assisting in delivering tailored interventions to meet individual SEMH needs
* Helping to maintain a safe and positive learning environment
* Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff to implement behaviour strategies
* Building strong, trusting relationships with students and acting as a positive role model
What We\'re Looking For
* Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEND or behavioural needs
* Resilience, patience and a calm, consistent approach
* A genuine passion for inclusion and making a difference
* A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
Desirable (not essential)
* Previous Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant or Youth Work experience
* Team Teach or similar de-escalation training
* Interest in progressing towards teacher training (QTS support available!)
