Are you passionate about helping young people overcome barriers and achieve their potential? We’re partnering with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Caerphilly to recruit a dedicated and empathetic Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team.

Your Daily Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
* Encourage and model positive behaviour strategies.
* Support students with a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and SEMH needs.
* Work alongside teachers to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
* Build trust, offer guidance, and help students manage day-to-day challenges.
We’re Looking For Someone Who…
* Has experience supporting children or young people with ALN, SEMH, or behavioural needs.
* Has previously worked in education, youth work, support work, coaching, or community roles.
* Is confident using positive behaviour management techniques.
* Is passionate about helping young people who may not thrive in mainstream school settings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
