MAIN PURPOSE/FUNCTION OF JOB:
This position links together retail sales and margin analysis, product procurement and marketing activation.
The job holder will be expected to analyse till and stock information in order to optimize product ranges and improve gross profit margins. Building strong relationships with key category suppliers will enable the Company to receive enhanced support helping to drive income.
The role requires significant time spent in pubs during all trading hours, working with BDMs to position our businesses accurately.
MAIN DUTIES/TASKS:
Commercial
Gain a clear understanding of data analysis and retailing perspectives on sites various drinks categories.
Management and negotiation of more favourable terms with product suppliers
Management of suppliers of key wines, spirits and mineral brands
Analysing results of activation or incentives and creating reports of results
Assisting in improving staff knowledge of products and breweries.
Build relationships with BDMs, Licensees,
Analyse in detail different drink categories and build up the product, margin and distribution lists
Build relationships with key brewers and Suppliers
Marketing
Marketing activation across both individual and group pubs
Brand activation across the estate linking calendar events and optimising support from suppliers to drive sales
Driving Cask ales presentation of pubs and sales.
Introducing marketing activities to enhance the image of Pub Peoples cask and crafts in the market.
